Results Based Small Group Coaching Programs

Have you ever been on the golf course with a golf professional, who can assess your game to help you make a practice plan to truly improve? Small Group RESULTS BASED Coaching programs take you out on the golf course (where the game is actually played), in a group (which is the setting that you most often are playing), to simulate the real environment and stress of playing golf.

After the assessment on the golf course, your pro/coach works with you to come up with a detailed practice plan, and you schedule your group sessions with your coach. Group sessions will rotate on and off the golf course, with off course sessions providing training environments based on what YOU need to improve, and the on-course sessions serve as a time for you and the rest of the group to play and learn correct mental techniques, strategy, and scoring methods.

After the initial on-course assessment, we make a clear, realistic goal for you to achieve based on where you are starting, and we guarantee that you will reach your goals if you follow the plan we lay out for you!

Benefits of Small Group Coaching Programs?

-more time with the coach for less money

-the ability to learn from what each player in the group is doing

-camaraderie and a group that supports you through the journey

-FUN group practice/training

-the ability to get on the golf course, where the game is actually played, with your coach/golf professional

The Federal Club Golf Academy

Operation thirty six
Drive 1-10 Graphic

The Federal Club Golf Academy was founded in Fall 2017, with the introduction of the Operation 36 Coaching Platform. Our Academy offers instructional programs for Juniors ages 4-17 as well as Ladies and Men of every skill level. Our Professional Staff is excited to help our members and families grow their skills and love for the game of golf through our first-class programs!

The Platform works for players of ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS! Social or Competitive players can learn and develop their ability and enjoyment of the game through the simple and structured framework and curriculum of TFC Golf Academy. We believe in three core tenets to developing and loving the game of golf:

  • Playing: In Operation 36, we play TFC Matches to test skills being learned by challenging players to shoot PAR (36) or better for 9 holes. All players start from 25 yards and progress to longer yardages once the objective is achieved!

  • Learning: Our Classes provide a small group environment (6:1 student-coach ratio) to learn and develop golf skills through the Operation 36 curriculum. Players advance through six (6) progressive Levels, demonstrating competency to their Coach for each of the 12 skill objectives. Skill objectives include: Posture, Grip, Alignment, Putting, Green Reading, Power, Ball Flight, Work Ethic, Mastery, Honor, Fitness & Nutrition, and Performance (TFC Matches).

  • Training: Practice, practice, practice! Students can log practice sessions on the Op 36 app, and can refer to the videos to remind them of items they work on in class. Like any skill, golf requires practice and training for improvement!

Please see our Junior Golf Programs page to view program information.

Adult Programs

2025 Ladies Operation 36

Learn all the shots, challenge yourself, and HAVE FUN!

These classes are geared towards ladies of all skill levels from total beginner to intermediate player.  Participants will follow the Operation 36 guidelines of starting at 25 yards out for 9 holes, and will play at that yardage until they can shoot 36 or better.  Yardages are 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, and then the regulation tees.  The academy classes will consist of instruction on the practice facility, on-course instruction, and fun games that make learning more fun than traditional instruction.  While we will focus on the short game, we will include full iron/wood swing instruction during the semester.

Private Lessons

One-on-one private instruction is available for students seeking to better their playing ability. Our Professional Staff can tailor a program to each student’s needs, but offers a standard 1 Hour lesson to cover any aspect of the game; putting, short game, irons, or woods; or we can take the learning environment to the course with one of our playing lessons (9 or 18 holes). Learning to play the game properly and manage your skills on the course will help you play better and have more fun!
